Although we have three different local sod delivery zones for Central Oregon, we do not quote extra delivery charges for sod. Turf, Trucking and Donkey forklift charges are quoted as one square foot price.

   Tree Delivery Policy

 

With the exception of small trees, deliveries with medium to large root balls do require specialized handling equipment and additional manpower for unloading. Our basic tree delivery service is to transport and unload the trees on the ground at your site. Some homeowners pay for added time for placement of trees to specific locations. Our service utilizes large diesel trucks and specially designed forklifts with a driver/operator. For this service our rate is $105.00 per hour, with half hour minimum. If you or your customers that will be using our service have a forklift or loader to conduct the unloading then the rate will be $100.00 per hour. We do not start charging until the truck arrives at loading site, the transport time to your site, and the unloading time. The farm workers and our driver/operator are well trained for small to medium size trees weighing no more than 200 pounds and under 10 foot in height. These types of tree deliveries are quite cost effective to the homeowner with good access and flat ground.

 

If we can combine your sod order with your tree load on the same truck;then you are only charged for the loading & unloading time for the trees

 

 

Large Trees
Trees over 200 pounds and or trees over 8 foot in height require two extra men, one on the bed of the trailer and one on the ground to assist with the tops of the trees. We can provide the extra manpower to assist with the unloading @ $65.00 per person. If you provide the extra people to assist in the unloading and placement of your trees you will be required to sign a liability release form.

To help scheduling and delivery please ask the farm for a list of trees; sizes and quantities specific to your order.

 

Although the Farm and Instant Landscaping Company makes a most concerted effort, in the processes of multiple handling from farm to delivery site, there is occasionally minor non life threatening limb damage to large trees. Please inspect each tree as they come off the truck.
