Bark & Mulch please call for current price and availability WHY USE BARK MULCH:
Information About Bark Mulches:
Most logs and of course bark is harvested off of private timberland. Some timber owners harvest mostly big trees with thick bark and some timber owners harvest mostly small trees with very thin bark. Most mills we are associated with process all sizes of Douglas Fir and Hemlock logs. In the old days, since more logs on average yielded thicker bark, bark quality was more consistent. Today we must live with more of a variance in quality. The below photos and descriptions are our best representation of our bark products. With this in mind, please understand that the photos and descriptions are intended to give you a general idea of bark size, color and quality. We encourage our customers prior to purchasing or accepting a delivered load of bark to inspect it personally. Please remember that landscaping bark appears darker when irrigated and lighter when dry. Instant Landscaping Company is known for securing some of the finest bark available in Oregon and Washington and we will continue to offer our valued customers only the best products available.
Hemlock, Alder, Juniper do not tend to contain the small itchy slivers. All wood product will have some splinters.
Also please remember that natural bark appears darker when irrigated, lighter when dry and they all fade a bit after the hot late summer sunny months. Currently our inventory is all natural bark.
Warm Regards, Tim.
